Rancher-Pushprox Overview
Secure your stack with a hardened Rancher-Pushprox image freshly-built by Minimus. Minimus images always include the most up-to-date package version for all packages and dependencies contained in the image.
Rancher-Pushprox is a Kubernetes operator that manages Prometheus Alertmanager receiver instances for multi-cluster environments. It automatically provisions and configures push-based proxy services that allow remote clusters to securely push alerts to a centralized Alertmanager without requiring network ingress or direct connectivity. This enables scalable alert aggregation across disconnected or air-gapped Kubernetes clusters.
Technical Considerations
The Rancher-Pushprox image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
Rancher-Pushprox built by Minimus:
- Drill down on the version specification tab to see the default user, listening ports, entrypoint, volumes, environment variables, etc.
