Rancher-Fleet Overview
Secure your stack with a hardened Rancher-Fleet image freshly-built by Minimus. Minimus images always include the most up-to-date package version for all packages and dependencies contained in the image.
Rancher-Fleet is a GitOps-based fleet management system that enables centralized deployment and lifecycle management of applications across multiple Kubernetes clusters. It allows operators to define applications and configurations in Git repositories, which are automatically synchronized and deployed to target clusters based on configurable policies and cluster selectors. Fleet abstracts away cluster heterogeneity, providing a unified control plane for managing large-scale, distributed Kubernetes environments.
Technical Considerations
The Rancher-Fleet image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.

- Drill down on the version specification tab to see the default user, listening ports, entrypoint, volumes, environment variables, etc.
