Kubewarden-Policy-Server is a Kubernetes admission controller that enforces custom policies written in WebAssembly across your cluster. It evaluates pod creation requests, configuration changes, and other Kubernetes operations against user-defined policies to ensure compliance with organizational standards. The server validates and mutates Kubernetes resources before they are persisted, providing policy-as-code enforcement without requiring custom webhook implementations.
Technical Considerations
The Kubewarden-Policy-Server image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
