Knative-Eventing-Filter is a component that enables content-based filtering and routing of CloudEvents within Knative Eventing deployments. It evaluates incoming events against user-defined filter expressions and criteria, selectively forwarding matching events to specified destinations while discarding non-matching events. This capability allows developers to implement sophisticated event processing pipelines with conditional logic without requiring custom application code.
Technical Considerations
The Knative-Eventing-Filter image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
