Dask-Gateway-Server is a multi-tenant gateway for managing and scaling Dask clusters in shared computing environments. It provides a secure, centralized service for launching, monitoring, and controlling Dask worker clusters while isolating users and enforcing resource quotas. It abstracts away cluster infrastructure complexity by offering a simple API for users to request compute resources without needing direct cluster administration privileges.
Technical Considerations
The Dask-Gateway-Server image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
