Conductor-FIPS Overview

Secure your stack with a FIPS-validated, hardened Conductor image freshly-built by Minimus. Minimus images always include the most up-to-date package version for all packages and dependencies contained in the image.


Conductor lets platform and engineering teams orchestrate microservices, long-running business processes, and AI agent workflows as versioned, declarative definitions instead of hand-rolled retry and coordination logic scattered across services. Every workflow step is durably persisted, so executions survive crashes and restarts and can be resumed, retried, or replayed from any point, while the workers that carry out each step can be written in any language. Use this image when you need to meet the requirements for FIPS-validated cryptographic protection.


FIPS 140-3 Certification

This image is FIPS-validated to ensure its cryptographic operations meet the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) required for secure government and regulated environments. Its core cryptographic modules are validated under the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) and comply with the FIPS 140-3 standard.

To verify that the FIPS 140-3 provider is configured and active, follow the instructions in the FIPS compliance tab.


Try It Out

Take the Minimus Conductor-FIPS image for a test run:

docker run -d \
  --name conductor \
  -p 5000:5000 \
  -p 8080:8080 \
  reg.mini.dev/conductor-fips

This starts a standalone Conductor server, exposing the UI on port 5000 and the REST API on port 8080.

Give the server a moment to finish starting, then visit the UI at http://localhost:5000.

Run curl http://localhost:8080/health to confirm that the API is up.


Technical Considerations

The Conductor-FIPS image provided by Minimus is a FIPS-validated, slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image.

Conductor-FIPS built by Minimus:

  1. Drill down on the version specification tab to see the default user, listening ports, entrypoint, volumes, environment variables, etc.
