Acapy-Agent Overview
Secure your stack with a hardened Acapy-Agent image freshly-built by Minimus. Minimus images always include the most up-to-date package version for all packages and dependencies contained in the image.
ACA-Py (Aries Cloud Agent Python) is a foundation for building decentralized identity applications and services. It implements the Aries interoperability protocols over DIDComm, enabling agents to issue, hold, and verify verifiable credentials and to establish secure peer-to-peer connections. ACA-Py is designed to run alongside a business logic controller, which communicates with the agent through its admin API to drive credential issuance, verification, and connection workflows.
Try It Out
For a quick test, print the help menu:

The Acapy-Agent image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
Acapy-Agent built by Minimus:
- Drill down on the version specification tab to see the default user, listening ports, entrypoint, volumes, environment variables, etc.
The Payoff
A hardened, minimal image that will remain more secure for the long run and accrue vulnerabilities at a slower rate.
