Calico-Ctl Overview
Secure your stack with a hardened Calico-Ctl image freshly-built by Minimus. Minimus images always include the most up-to-date package version for all packages and dependencies contained in the image.
Calico-ctl is a command-line tool for managing Calico networking and security policies in Kubernetes and other container orchestration platforms. It enables operators to configure network policies, manage IP address management (IPAM), define firewall rules, and interact with Calico resources directly from the command line. The tool provides both imperative commands and declarative management capabilities for controlling container network connectivity and enforcing microsegmentation policies.
Technical Considerations
The Calico-Ctl image provided by Minimus is a slim, security-hardened alternative to the public image from Docker Hub. The images are largely interchangeable, with a few differences as noted below.
